Playground USA, Drama Day Camp

Playground, USA is a drama day camp separated into two sections once every summer. Both sections last one week. The first week enrolls children ages 6 to 13, and the second week follows with ages 13 to 18. Playground, USA gives each child the opportunity to act, sing, dance, and work backstage. In one week, Playground produces a full scale production and invites an audience to view the show on the closing day of Playground. Children audition and are cast on the first day on the week, and children can also choose to be part of the technical crew. The technical crew assists in building the scenery, painting, pulling props, and running the show.
The Scenic budget for Playground is 100.00/week. Therefore, students learn about the value of green building, and creating from found objects.
